Creating a New Student Group

A group of students interested in forming a new student group should:

  1. Collect a petition consisting of the following:
    • signatures of at least 40 students who are interested in the group
    • a statement of purpose for the new group
    • contact information for those intending to start the group
  2. Contact Student Council to present at an upcoming meeting
  3. At the next SC meeting, present their new student group and their petition of signatures for approval
